DREAMY DUO

Rimmel London Kate Moss Nude Polish

Admit it, we're all suckers for a glittery, sparkly manicure. Whether it's in your face loud colours or subtle soft shimmers, there's just something about glitter nail polishes that make us go ga-ga. I love the versatility of a glitter polish, the fact they can be used as a top coat to add a little glam to a solid base colour, or used as a way to cover chipped polish, they're great!

If you've been reading my blog for a while you'll know I'm a big lover of nude nails; more so pinky-nudes. You know the ones that make your nails look healthy and add a layer of subtle colour, so you can imagine my joy when I stumbled upon this Rimmel London Kate Moss polish (227 New Romantic). A gorgeous soft, feminine pink with its own tiny tiny dash of shimmer that after a two coats leave's my nails with a lovely chic, classic nail look.

As I said before, the great thing about glitter polishes is that you can add them as a means of 'touching up' you're existing manicure. I'm a self-confessed polish picker, so glittery top coats are right p my street, and I've been on the hunt for what feel's like forever, for a top coat that had very fine, tiny particles (too big and I find it takes multiple coats to get a half decent amount) of glitter that could be added to any colour. Which is exactly what I got when I found the Rimmel London Finishing Touch Glitter Top Coat - for me this is the perfect glitter polish. The glitter is iridescent, which means it changes colour depending on the light, and colour of your base coat. It distributes evenly, leaving a gorgeous layer of fine glitter particles that are so subtle you barely notice them on the nail.

These two polishes combined are my current go to manicure; I just adore how subtle, chic and feminine the end results are!
