Current go to outfit outfit of the day fashion blogger fashion post george at asda peasant shirt raw hem jeans pandora uk asos h and m

We're all guilty of it; buying a new item of clothing and all of a sudden it's become that go to outfit that you can just throw on, feel good in and just go. Now I didn't purchase these pieces together, nor am I literally spending every day in them but when I've got plans to go out, this is what I'm throwing on.
I'm most certainly a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl, the colour palette of my wardrobe is very neutral (lots of grey, navy, black and white) but I've been slowly trying to inject a few different prints, colours and textures. I've been eyeing up these peasant style, lace-up blouses for a while now but couldn't find one that either, didn't have lace-up detailing that started from the navel, or was very very low cut - which isn't the best thing if, like me, you've got a larger bust you'd rather not be showcasing to everyone. So whilst my mum was shopping I was browsing the clothing aisle and stumbled across this black and white, tile printed peasant blouse. I really like this - its not too low cut (nothing a plain cami top underneath wont cover), it's a great, flattering length.

Onto the jeans - I've been lusting over some raw hem jeans for a while now and seized the opportunity to purchase these Next ones when I was at Westfield's. As I said before, I'm all about jeans and t-shirts for everyday wear and ankle grazing skinny jeans are my absolute favourite! That being said, I have found recently that the relaxed boyfriend style jean that's been on trend has made it harder to find a good pair of skinny jeans that is not loose and baggy around the ankles. The Raw Hem Skinny Jean is totally flattering, the distressed edges of denim make the end of the jean look a lot softer around the ankle! The length is flattering too; a jean that ends (grazes) above the ankle is more flattering than a skinny jean that ends below it as the ankle is often the slimmest part of the leg, therefore by having the length cut off there, you create the illusion of longer, slimmer legs. They also tend to be the best type of denim to go with most styles of footwear!

Speaking of footwear, my cousin sent a load of hand me downs for my sisters and I to rummage through and I've never been more thankful to be the only sister to have (UK) Size 5 feet. I love love love, these Zara sandals! The print is subtle enough to not be distracting or clash with the print of the shirt! When it comes to accessories, I've been keeping things pretty simple. A simple, statement necklace; this old one from H&M is almost an arrow head kind of shape, which fits with the v-neck cut of the blouse. Also, my trusty, Pandora Bow Ring, which is a lovely, dainty understated ring that I wear with everything!
