La Roche Posay BB Blur Effaclar BB Cream Review Best BB Cream 2016 New Product

If you've been reading here a while, you'll know I've currently been dipping my toes in the world of BB and CC Creams. I was finding that wearing foundation everyday was just getting too much, my skin needed a break from the heavier coverage of foundations and concealers. However, my skin is no where near perfect and so a light coverage was needed.

Over the summer I've been loving the Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream but wanted to expand my collection of light coverage creams. On that never ending list of products to purchase was the La-Roche Posay Effaclar BB Blur Cream.

Claiming to blur the appearance of blemishes, pores and fine lines, I just knew I had to try it. I'd been looking around online and saw nothing but great reviews across the board for this mattifying, mousse like cream.

I love the skin adapting pigments, I'm a pale girl and even the lightest shade on the back of my hand looked too dark but once applied, buffed into my skin and blended out it was a pretty decent match. The finish of this product leaves my skin looking and feeling velvety smooth.

It's a light coverage, it even's out skin tone but doesn't completely cover blemishes, but that's nothing a little concealer doesn't fix. I also found that it doesn't aggravate existing blemishes either. Typically I've been using this mostly concentrated throughout my t-zone where my skin tone is redder and more blemish prone and simply setting it with a translucent matte powder.

Overall I've found this to be a winner. It's long-lasting, gives a lovely natural, smooth looking finish that never appears caked on and also lets other make-up sit nicely on top.

Have you tried this? What are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments!
