Now that autumn has well and truly arrived, I thought I'd give a quick update as to what products I'm reaching for everyday. Autumn make-up tends to be a bit heavier, fuller coverage, matte with berry toned accents. That being said, for me, an everyday look I like is something that's quite light, minimal and natural looking. I bow down to the ladies out there who do a full contour, winged eyeliner, bold lip everyday - I just don't have the time, discipline or talent to do that.
I can't get enough of the La Roche Posay Effaclar BB Blur as a base - I just raved about it here. I love the fact it feels so light on the skin, but provides a decent, buildable (blurring) coverage. Moving on to concealer, I've been using the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer to brighten the under eye area. For me, this is one of those staple products I always have a tube somewhere in my collection, it just gets the job done! A little goes a long way also! To set, both the BB Cream and the concealer, I like to use the Soap and Glory One Heck Of A Blot Translucent Powder. It's finely milled, mattifying and doesn't look cakey and seems to keep shine at bay for ages! Being the pasty girl I am, I find a quick sweep of bronzer all over just add's a bit of warmth to my face and also adds a very soft, subtle (powder) contour. To achieve this I love using Benefit's Hoola Bronzer as it's that perfect shade that's not too orange nor too muddy, is matte and blends seamlessly.

After curling my lashes, I like to use a few coats of my trusty L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara just to give me a bit of depth and subtle definition across my top lashes without them looking clumpy. Moving on to the eyebrows; which I am useless at by the way, it's only appropriate to use Benefit's Goof Proof Brows to fill in sparse area's and give a bit more definition through the arch.

Lastly for my lips I like a subtle, warm shade in the colder months. I get very cold easily and my lips tend to suffer - dry, chapped and looking a bit blue when it's really cold - so adding some hydration with a wash of a warm colour is a must. I often find myself reaching for my old favourite Revlon Lip Butter's (pink truffle) as they do the job perfectly!

So that's my everyday face for autumn 2016, what's yours? Let me know in the comments!
