Products I Forget I Have Beauty Rosie for Autograph Marks and Spencer MAC Velvet Teddy NYX Stila

Is there a nicer feeling than the one you get when you've been rummaging through your make up collection and find products you love but forgot you ever had? That's what I've been up to recently, having a bit of a sort through, throwing out the tatty old products that are past their best and attempting to reintroduce those products that have been at the back of the drawer to my everyday make up routine.

Which has been trickier than I first thought, as the following products I've found are more often than not the ones that come out occasionally if my skin looks good.  For example, the Rosie for Autograph Amazing Radiance Cream which I tend to only really reach for when I'm having an amazing skin day as it's very sheer coverage that adds a glow to the skin. If I'm being honest and I think this is the reason I don't reach for this frequently, I purchased this thinking it would be great for the warmer months where I don't want or need a full coverage base instead choosing a lightweight, breathable one but the really low SPF 10 on my pasty skin is a pretty big set back. I know I could really wear a higher SPF underneath but I have other products that work with my skin better than this one.

This sounds like I'm brand bashing but I'm not, I swear. It's just my Rosie for Autograph Lip Glossy in Super Model Smile doesn't get used as much as it should simply because I have so many other lip products that are all of a very similar colour that last longer between touch-ups! Sorry Rosie!

Moving on to NYX, I adore their Wonder Pencil but it's just not something I reach for in my everyday routine. If I were going out and wanted a stronger, cleaner brow then I'd dig this out and use it but for day to day not so much. We can throw my Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner (Lionfish)  in the same category. I just don't wear it every day. That being said it is absolutely gorgeous when I use to create a simple, imperfect smokey brown eye look.

Now out of all the product's mentioned the final two I've definitely noticed myself reaching for more. NYX Above and Beyond Full Coverage Concealer has, as mentioned been making its way into the 'reach for everyday pile'. I've always loved it, but just loved other concealers and the convenience of those other ones more.

Finally, MAC's Velvet Teddy and I had a bit of a thing for a while, I wore it every day. Then my lips got really dry and sore and I began favoring lip balms in an attempt to relieve the dry lip situation. However, I have been using this more over the last month, choosing to dab the colour onto my lip with my finger after I've applied some lip balm as opposed to applying directly from the bullet.

Are there any product's you forget you have? Let me know in the comments!
